Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. Unbelievable selection of oysters. I had a dozen assorted and six little necks. Fantastic. Low key atmosphere the way a true oyster house should be. It’s about the fresh seafood with no pretense. True New England.

Lots of people fit in this cozy place! The food is good and the oyster specials are excellent. Sometimes the service is slower and the menu can seem limited with a mixed crowd.

Go for their Dollar Oyster special. Check dates and times, its only a few days a week. We went and had fresh oysters from six different local farms. Great local draft beer selection too. E new Management is doing a great job sourcing local food and beer.

Probably my favorite place in Rhode island for a night eating oysters and getting a cocktail. Not overdone or super pretentious...simply fresh oysters and small enough to have a business meeting or a casual get together.

Everything here was absolutely delicious. And this is where you go for oysters. Wow, the best I've ever had.

It is a very nice place. The staff was excellant! The service was great. The food was very good. If your looking for just the right amount of very tasty food this is your place. The oysters were exceptional in taste and quality fresh from the ocean. Love the raw bar!!!

Excellent experience. We stopped in for an early dinner with our four year old, and everything was delicious: calamari, shrimp, bisque, oysters. And the service was great, too! Thank you!

Tried all of the oysters they had that day. Market prices were $2-3 bucks a piece. Good local draft beers too

Kate was behind the bar and she was awesome! It was Thursday and they had Dollar oysters. All the oysters were from RI which I loved! That's all we had, Oysters and drinks and it was an incredible experience! I will for sure be back. Thank you Kat and Jake.

Went to dinner with my family we all had the best meal. From the oysters to the pork belly to the ceviche it was all awesome. Ask for my burger medium rare and that's exactly what I got - doesn't happen at many other places. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely would go back again.

I'm not a big oyster person, so not much to eat for me. A lovely crowd with lots of people saying prayers and raw food. High ceilings and not a lot of fabric, make it noisy when it's full. I got chicken, so not representative of the meals there. Chicken was ok, nothing special

If your an oyster lover this is the spot. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is all day chuck a buck $1. They have a big variety of freshest oysters and their appetizers are amazing like the food channel type of dishes. Presentation, originality and taste. 👍👍👍

It's very attractive to have buck a shuck on the weekend. It's a great deal for fresh Rhode island oysters.We drove directly to Bristol from New York city. It's worth the drive!

Great atmosphere with great cocktails. The dollar oysters were a good deal with a good variety to choose from. The rest of the raw bar options are a little pricey though.

Amazing place! Great raw bar. Great service. Nice bar menu. The food is amazing. I travel a lot and this is one of those rare places where I wanted to try almost everything on the menu. Everything that we ordered was outstanding!

First time visitor. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Daily buck a shuck deals were a treat and oysters were delectable. Burger melt was good value on the menu and tasty. Prices were above average for most other things including drinks and raw bar. Cozy atmosphere. Service was friendly but not most attentive on this visit. Would stop again if in the area to take advantage of oyster specials or a quick sandwich. Bar was enjoyed by locals.

Corn chowder soup was amazing and the oysters were out of this world!

I'm a vegetarian (I don't eat seafood) but I went with others. I was surprised that they had a very delicious vegetarian option. It was a large plate with one section of cold veggies and another section of warm veggies. Absolutely superb. I would come back again just for the veggie meal. And this is a picture of my delicious tomato appetizer.

We had a lovely happy hour of $1 oysters then a delicious dinner. Service was attentive and friendly. So glad we stopped in. Can’t wait to go back!

The Bristol Oyster House is a fantastic restaurant located in downtown historic Bristol. The oyster selection was top notch. Shrimp, lobster, little necks and a very unique menu. We had oysters, a tomato salad, shrimp and scallop chowder. The staff was very attentive and very friendly and helpful. They have plenty of parking in the rear of the property. The interior was amazing with warm brick and high ceilings and arched windows. The Bristol Oyster House is a small and warm setting to enjoy some of the best seafood New England can offer.

Great place for you to get your oyster fill! Nice selection of local oysters, fun drinks(I had a bacon old fashioned, which was superb). Amazing staff and fun relaxing vibe. Will definitely come back again soon!

Obviously known for incredibly fresh, local oysters - but the best gem on the menu is the veggie plate. Mix of cold and hot vegetables du jour - really good.

Had oysters and drinks on the patio and it was wonderful. Our waitress,Katie, was wonderful and great with suggestions.

Wow! What an experience! The staff was amazing and the raw oysters were amazing! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Also, you must try the smoked fish platter. They have an outdoor patio.

Good oysters reasonably priced. Shrimp were small. Undersized portions on entrees. Crabcake was good. Nice atmosphere. Wait staff was pleasant. If you're looking for a quick bite this is not the place - you won't be rushed here. Overall, a good experience.

Amazing experience. The selection of oysters is fantastic, the shuckers present them beautifully, and each type has its unique taste. Best oyster raw bar I've ever been to (just laid waste to a dozen and a half on my most recent visit). Staff are fantastic (including the owner who knows and farms oysters himself), the vibe is upbeat, and the full menu is appealing to all tastes. Highly recommended!!

Hands down THE best oyster bar in Rhode Island. Excellent selection of tasty and super fresh oysters during their daily happy hours. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the service is great. Sit at the bar and Mike, the manager, will take great care of you. Don’t forget to try their bread pudding although be warned - you may not want to share 😜

Highly recommend. First time visit and found a clean, well run restaurant, with friendly staff. Note there is parking in the rear.A focused menu offers seafood selections a cut above the typical. But, the oysters alone are worth the trip: fresh and expertly shucked. My wife has special dietary needs and the chef was available to answer questions.Enjoyed the pork and scallop plate, and the corn and scallop chowder that featured light and tasty flavors. Both scallops and pork were cooked to perfection.The chowder had a large scallop that left no doubt it was “Scallop and Corn”.Wife loved the huge veggie plate.All food was fresh and prepared by people who care about what they are doing. Both server and support staff were attentive.Will visit again!
